Was any actress from Hollywood’s glamour era more beautiful than GRACE KELLY? The woman never took a bad picture. She was also a skilled and accomplished actress, capable of high drama, witty, classy, and sassy when she needed to be. In November 2009, in honor of what would have been Kelly’s 80th birthday (on Nov.12), the Turner Classic Movie (TCM) channel is hosting a festival of her films. Among those being shown are “The Country Girl,” “Dial M for Murder,” “High Noon,” “Rear Window,” “To Catch a Thief,” “High Society,” and “The Swan.” For more information on the fairy-tale life and career of Grace Kelly, visit the HALL OF FAME section of the IAW&A website.
